Is this socket OK to reuse (personal amp)
It's been soaked in Iso and scrubbed pretty good. I'm a ways from the city, so could I reinstall this ceramic output socket? My Cannibis Rex speaker got toasted somehow from this too;(

OK, I'll replace it then as I def don't want to go through that again!

Check that there isn't carbon deposited on the PCB too. Some sort of mitigation for an open circuit OT secondary is always a good idea, eg [url]http://schems.com/schematicheaven.net/manu/vox/ac50_1.pdf[/url] see the 470 ohm resistor across the secondary.
